Established in the 1930s, Stamford Tyres has built a reputation for our steadfast commitment to service and product excellence over the years. From a humble tyre retailer cum petrol service station in Stamford Road, Stamford Tyres is today an international tyre and wheel supply and service provider with strong growth potential.

The expertise of Stamford Tyres lies in our international distribution competence, which we integrate with complementary value-added services such as regional retail chain operations and truck and off-the-road tyres with management services. Our extension into outsourced contract manufacturing and alloy wheel manufacturing in recent years complements our core competence.

Our established sales and operations network currently spans in more than 90 countries around the world. While the Group continues to focus on its core business of tyre distribution of its major brands – Falken, Dunlop, Continental and Toyo Tires – it has also strengthened its development capabilities and introduced innovative products to grow its proprietary brands in international markets – Sumo Firenza, Sumo Tire and SSW Wheels, which are sold globally.

To ride on the robust growth of the region, we are also expanding our retail operations and truck and off-the-road tyres with management services in the Asia Pacific. Going forward, Stamford Tyres remains committed to propel our business to greater heights and create values for our customers, business partners and stakeholders.

Stamford Tyres was listed on the Second Board of Singapore Stock Exchange (SGX-Sesdaq) in 1991, and was upgraded to the Main Board of the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited (SGX-ST) in April 2003.

About Stamford Tyres Malaysia

Stamford Tyres first set up its subsidiary in Malaysia in 1989, and it’s known as Exnova Sdn Bhd since 1991. In May 2003, Stamford Tyres (M) Sdn Bhd is incorporated. The company now has 3 divisions covering various market segments, which include Distribution, Retails, and Fleet Sales.

Retailing

Supporting the Group’s distribution business and building on our global presence are our retail chain operations. More than promoting our brand presence, these retail activities enable the Group to provide essential after-sales services, maintain direct contact with out consumers and understand and respond effectively to market dynamics. We believe this creates and integrated value chain beneficial to our customers, partners and consequently, to Stamford Tyres.

The Group today ahs over 20 Stamford Tyres retail chain operations in the region where customers enjoy the experience of a “One-Stop Auto Service Centre”. In Singapore, we operate an extensive retail network of Mega Marts and Tyre Marts that offer a comprehensive range of tyres, wheels, batteries, car audio and auto accessories, as well as workshop and tyre services. We are also expanding our fully integrated business concept in Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and China.

Off-The-Road Tyre Specialist

With more than 20 years in the off-the-road tyre business, Stamford Tyres is well established in this business segment in the region, especially in Indonesia. Committed to building strong relationships with our customers, our specialist service is well known throughout South East Asia. Here, highly trained and experienced Stamford Tyres teams provide the best service and advice on off-the-road tyres to port authorities, mining, and logging and construction companies throughout the region.

Apart from supplying our customers with the tyres more suited to their needs, our teams also conduct on-site training services to share knowledge with our customers on proven techniques for optimizing tyre life.

Fleet Tyre Management And Maintenance

With more than 20 years in the off-the-road tyre business, Stamford Tyres is well established in this business segment in the region, especially in Indonesia. Committed to building strong relationships with our customers, our specialist service is well known throughout South East Asia. Here, highly trained and experienced Stamford Tyres teams provide the best service and advice on off-the-road tyres to port authorities, mining, and logging and construction companies throughout the region.

Retreading

Stamford Tyres has retreading operations in Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia. N addition to helping fleet owners minimize their operating costs, retreading helps preserve natural resources and contributes to the environment.

Logistic Infrastructure

Our distribution business is supported by an 18,000 sq. m central warehouse located in Singapore with a storage capacity for 300,000 tyres and wheels. This warehouse facility is equipped with the state-of-the-art computerized picking system and double-reach truck racking system for efficient logistics management. The network of warehousing facilities located throughout South East Asia, Hong Kong/China and Asia Pacific complements our Singapore warehouse. These logistics centres ensure just in time supply to our customers.
