A five day four night dealer incentive trip to Danang Vietnam was recently organized by Stamford Tyres Malaysia for its DRC dealers. The trip took place from January 19 to January 23 and was attended by a total of 21 Stamford Tyres Malaysia DRC dealers, accompanied by two STM representatives namely Mr. Chiang Chia Heng and Mr. Yap Siong Lim.
The Stamford Tyres Malaysia DRC Dealers Incentive Trip departed from KLIA on January 19 on a direct 90 minute northbound flight for Danang International Airport situated right in the center of the city. The 5 day 4 night STM DRC incentive trip had scheduled days one, two and three with a relaxed and casual list of itineraries, reserving the main purpose of the trip namely their scheduled visit to the DRC (Danang Rubber Joint Stock Company) Factory for Day 4 the second last day of their visit.
Kicking off proceedings on Day 1 the STM DRC dealers were treated to an entertaining evening at the Casino Club 99 followed by a relaxing 60 minute Spa message before adjourning to the Danang Beach Hotel for the entire duration of their stay. Days 2 and 3 had the dealers visiting a number of interesting tourist attractions around Danang such as Ba Na Hills, a breathtaking cable car ride traversing Vong Nguyet Hills, Linh Ung Pagoda, Nui Chua Mountain, La Nim Villas, Orchid Garden, plus Marble Mountain, Tan Ky House, Phuc Klen communal house and many others.
Day 4 arrived and it was finally time for the Malaysian DRC dealers to make their scheduled visit to the DRC 9Danag Rubber Company) Factory located in the Lien Chieu District off the suburbs of Danang. The STM DRC delegation arrived just after lunch where they were officially welcomed by DRC’s Management namely Mr. Nguyen Manh Son, Deputy General Director (Production Director), Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Binh, Manager of TBR Factory, Mr. Nguyen Thi Lien –Export manager, and Mr. Tran Dinh Suu – Deputy manager of TBR Factory.
For most of the entire evening the Stamford Tyres Malaysia DRC delegation were given a an informative guided factory tour of the DRC factory. As a internationally acclaimed tire manufacturer and rubber-processing company DRC also manufactures, markets, and distributes tires and other rubber-derived products for industrial and automotive use. The company also merchandises machinery and supplies for rubber processing activities among other things.
