As way of promoting Falken Tyres in the country sole distributor Stamford Tyres Malaysia recently held a roadshow at 1 Utama Shopping Centre's New Wing Main Concourse from the 5th to the 9th of October.

Part of a brand awareness campaign this year's event was a five day affair that went on from 10am to 10pm daily, entertaining shoppers with games and an extensive display of Falken tyres as well as SSW wheels. Not forgetting also the many beautiful Falken ambassadors throughout the roadshow.

While car enthusiast paid more attention to the array of Falken cars that were on display, there were also a lot of fun games and exciting prizes to be won. Visitor who participated in games like football, target practice, racing simulator and jigsaw puzzle were handed out exclusive Falken merchandize such as Falken pens, Falken shopping bags, Falken tupperwares and Falken thermos mugs.

Visitors were also invited to participate in a lucky draw. Grand Prize winner Neo Chuah won a set of 15" Falken tyres while 1st place winner Teoh Chin Teik walked away with a set of 14” tyres, and consolation winners Valerie Neow and Yong Lai Kian won a pair of Falken tyres.

Also present at the event and to present the prize to the winners was representatives from Sumitomo, Nemoto Yasuhiro the Managing Director and Vice President, as well as Head of Retail Chain (Singapore) for Stamford Tyres International Pte Ltd, John Ang.

Highlight of the events was a special appearance by Malaysia's first Playboy Bunny, Felixia Yeap. Gracing the event on the final two days to sign autographs and pose for pictures, it was clear that Felixia was a big hit with the crowd.

There was also promotional discounts for purchase of Falken ZE 522 and Falken ZE912 tyres, as well as special combo package prizes from as low as RM1350 to RM2920 on selected SSW wheels and Falken tyres, all ranging from 15" to 18" in size. For every purchase, customers were entitled to a Limited Edition Falken Cap, Jusco shopping vouchers and petrol cash vouchers.
