Stamford Tyres Malaysia unveils its newest offerings

Back by an illustrious 70-year history, Stamford Tyres is one of the leading companies in the automotive industry with business in the original equipment (OEM), replacement equipment (REM) and aftermarket segment. Distribution and retail of Falkentyres is only the tip of the iceberg for Stamford, as the company also manufactures, distributes and retails its own proprietary brands – SSW alloy wheels and Sumo Firenzatyres.

SSW which is an acronym for Stamford Sport Wheel manufactures lightweight alloy wheels at the company’s factory in Nonthaburi province in Thailand. The high quality wheels are casted from A356.2 aluminum ingots and undergo strict manufacturing processes and quality control checks. The final product is a stylish and lightweight sport wheel that is extremely durable. SSW’s latest model, the 6-spoke S202, is testament to this.

Available in Black Matt with Lip Polish (BKM/LP) or Anodized Bronze with Lip Polish Bronze (ABR/LPBR), SSW S202 will add a touch of sporty to any passenger car. The wheel measures 17 inches with a width of 7.5j and a profile of +40 offset. As the mounting hub on the S202 features 8-bolt holes (4x100PCD & 4×114.3PCD) it can easily be installed on most cars.

Another new product in the arsenal is the new flagship FalkenAzenis FK453 ultra high performance tyres. Seen here on the display car in 215/45 R17, the FK452 replacement is also available from 17” – 22” inches in size, with various widths and profiles making it suitable for high-end vehicles.

The FK453 carries on where its predecessor left off and features the latest developments in noise-absorption technology for a quieter and more comfortable ride. Asymmetric variable thread design and its silica enriched compound deliver confidence in both wet and dry conditions, while nylon reinforced layers in its construction allows for enhanced high speed stability.
