Stamford Tyres, the official distributor of Falken tyres in Malaysia, launched two new Falken models for the ultimate economical driving experience – the ZiexZE914 Ecorun and SinceraSN832i – at Hyatt Regency Kuantan recently.   

Cham Soon Kian, Executive Vice President and CEO,Koh Lee Ming, Assistant General Managerand Chia Kiang Mun, Senior Sales Manager of Stamford Tyres (M) Sdn Bhd were present in the event, together with  Yasuhiro Nemoto, Managing Director and Wu Xiaoning, Manager of Sales Marketing of Sumitomo Rubber Asia (Tyre)Pte Ltd.

"In recent years, Sumitomo has not only continued to improve its Falken brand products, but also put in more effort in developing the South East Asia market, which they have identified as one of their key markets. This recognition will not have been possible without the effort of our partners, customers and friends. We are very confident that the twolatest products from Falken will help us to further improve Falken'sbrand recognition in Malaysia," said Cham.
 
The Sincera SN832i isdescribed as Falken'sstandard tyre with a European taste that provides longer life and higher durabilityas desired by the ASEAN market. Stronger pattern and profile features were introduced to maximise wear performance for better mileage and longer life. It is targeted at small and midsized vehicles such asPeroduaMyvi, Proton Saga, Toyota Vios, just to name a few. SN832i is available in 33 sizes from series 50-70, with diameters ranging from 12-16-inch.

The Ziex ZE914, on other hand, is promoted as Falken's latest innovative upgrade from its current product offering with 'excellent wet capabilities' that meet the demands of European vehicle manufacturers. It is said to featuring a new Falken compound formulation that delivers 'outstanding'high mileage and reduces fuel consumption characteristics without compromising safety.

Seen as a sport-comfort tyre, ZE914 is lauded as being thoughtfully designed with users in mind. Targeted at small and midsized vehicles such as Proton Preve, Honda Jazz, Nissan Almera, among others, ZE914 is available in 56 sizes from series 35-65, with diameters ranging from 15-18-inch. ZE914 is an Original Equipment (OE) tyre for Volkswagen Passat.

To be closer toits dealers as well as to reach out to potential customers, Stamford Malaysia would organisethe Falken launch at 4 different venues. The first launch was in Kuantan (East Coast) on 22nd May, 2015,followed by theJohor (Southern) launch on 30th May and Penang (Northern) on 7th June. The last event was in Kuala Lumpur (Central) on 21st June.  

The Johor launch was held at Brazzo by the Bay and the Penang event was at 32 mansion Penang.
